Annual Parent Conference
The role of parents is so critical to the proper growth and development of adolescents that it is imperative that we invest in them and equip them with the knowledge and skills necessary to promote productive and healthy adolescents that have a good relationship with their parents. Therefore, we conduct a parent workshop every year that covers a variety ot topics to help parents cope effectively with the daily challenges of their adolescents.

As we continue to learn about the various challenges that adolescents face, we are better equipped to teach them life skills more efficiently and effectively. Therefore, every year, we cover topics that pertain to emotional, physical, mental and spiritual well-being such that we are able to cope with life events - marriage, raising children, setting personal and professional goals, choosing a career and maintaining a balanced life, being a good steward financially. This conference is every June just prior to the start of our Summer program

Annual Service Provider /Caretaker Conference
As Service Provider, the responsibility of both the adolescent and the family fall in your lap. We at Youth Arise understand this awesome responsibility and are committed to as many educational opportunities as possible. This year in May was the first Service Provider Conference entitled: "Maintaining the Mental Health Wellness of the Adolescent Population in the face of Trauma and Adversity" and it was held with the SAMSHA (Substance Abuse and Mental Health Administration) staff to provide a better understanding of the stress, mental health and substance abuse that occurs in the Adolescent population, and what our role as general service providers would be.

We have often been asked to do presentations to various groups, schools and other organizations about Adolescent topics. It has been our pleasure to partner with many of the other groups to provide valuable information to our adolescents. We would be delighted to come and do presentations to your group. Just call us and set up the time, place and topic.
On-Line School
On-Line School
Study and learn at your own pace from anywhere about various topics that pertain to health and well-being of the adolescent. Courses will be offered for adolescents, parents/caretakers and service providers and will expound of many topics that will help in the successful understanding and navigation of these critical years. Our first course is entitled: "Understanding the Adolescent Years in the Context of the Developmental Stages". Launch date is August 15, 2019.
